All About Us - (or me, rather!)

I've never been really good at writing about myself, but here goes...

My name is Dawn and I run Blue Moon Creations. The name came about because every now and then I have one of those "blue moon" kind of ideas. It seemed a fitting name for a hand-made craft/gift business.

I've been making and selling one-of-a-kind gifts and keepsakes in the Treasure Valley for about 5 years now. I've done a few craft shows, but most of my sales have been to and through friends and family. With the popularity of my unique angels growing, I decided to try my hand at web-retail as a way to support my local sales, as well as sales nationwide through a number of organizations I'm a member of.

By day I work for an irrigation company in Caldwell, Idaho. By evening and the rest of the time, I'm a wife and mother of two grown children. I love to spend my free time either creating unique crafty things, spending time with my family and friends or riding my motorcycle.

With my gifts and crafts, I try very hard to use only the best pieces/parts and put lots of TLC into each and every thing I make. None of my items are mass produced. Each one is lovingly hand-made in my Boise home - usually with my husband watching from nearby!
